Questioning why the BS is stacked one way instead of another is futile. Maybe some poor witness will see and open their eyes but I kind of doubt it. Russell has been deposed and is therefore irrelevant.

If a physical assault on the Kingdom Hall i.e: turning off the water source can be perpetrated, perhaps the use of fire could be an option? or turning off the electricity? A physical attack against an issue of the mind and heart is reckless and I agree is just cause for a TRO. Get a grip and stick to the sidewalk. Emotions got the best of him. I don't see a victory here. The judge simply upheld his right to protest and protected the Kingdom Hall from harassment.

hey guys!

i just want you guys to know that today is a really great day.

there are so many jehovah's witnesses that saw this documentary and were disgusted by watchtowers policy.

Christian, there are over 36.29 million (2016) Canadians. I would be curious what percentage tuned in and what percentage were active JW's? Lloyd Evans' New Book - Is It Really Necessary?

so lloyd evans will shortly be releasing his new book how to leave the jehovah's witnesses.

i do enjoy his rebuttals and the stuff he manages to get hold of and leak.

but i'm struggling to understand what he could possibly write to merit a whole book.. all info on how to leave is right here on this forum.

Lloyd is certainly eloquent but if the book is "How to Leave..." I've already done that so I wouldn't read it anyhow. If someone wants to buy it, so be it.

Thank You All - Dealing with my Dad

it was 2010 when i first came to this website.

it was the day after the memorial.

i swore i would never attend another memorial, ever.. my father had called me a few day prior to that memorial and encouraged me to go.

Some people are born to misfortune, a crippling birth defect perhaps. A limb malformed, a speech impediment can severely effect their quality of life. Being born a JW is also a misfortune that can cripple a person's spirit and outlook on life. The thing about the JW misfortune is that more often than not one can overcome the disability and live a relatively normal life. Sadly, its one where everyone else is damaged and choose to stay that way. You are fortunate to have gotten out so young. Enjoy your life. I hope that in some way I am among those who had a positive effect on your escape. Sorry about grandma.

Memorial.. To go or not to go

so, as some of you will know myself and my husband are in the process of fading.

haven't been to a meeting since beginning of 2017. .

we weren't planning on going to the memorial, but last week my mother broke down and said that we have to go to the memorial even if it's the only meeting i go to this year.
